Quiet Day with the girls.

So today Dahrran has preschool, and well they had to go early because Ben has counseling. So it's been a quiet day with the girls. Guess this is a testament as to what it will be like next year when Dahrran is at school full time!! MacKenzie just wants to watch cartoons, and Kaitlynn has slept most of the time.

We also found baby bunnies in our yard today! :) In the fenced in part also! I never thought we'd have bunnies in the yard but momma bunny musta been looking for a safe place. Needless to say she didn't realize there was a doggy that lived here! Poor ole Jackson, found one of them and brought it to the back door. So I went a looking and found mamma's nest with three more bunnies in it! We'll have to watch them grow, will be a neat experience for the kids....as long as we can keep Jackson away from them!!!!!

The kids Easter Outfits

Hello, all I tried to put the kids easter outfit pictures on the other day, but for some silly reason the computer was crazy, and wouldn't let me add them! So glad I got them done today! :) The kids had a great easter, and it was great to see Kaitlynn love it all up. Sh had a blast, and as long as she could chew on her easter basket, she didn't seem to mind what was inside!!!

MacKenzie looks so innocent in this picture...but looks can be decieving!!!!
Dahrran on the other hand looks mischivious!

Cloth Diaper Baby!

So I've gotten on a new thing, and it's wonderful! Cloth Diapers, I know what you're thinking, why hassle with pins and rags, and what not. These aren't my mother's cloth diapers! They're as useable as disposables, and super easy to use! We're using the Bum Genius 3.0 cloth diapers! They will fit her until she's 35 pounds, so we'll have to get potty trained then! I know they'll fit that big, we made MacKenzie try them on one day, she didn't like them, but said they were for babies! They're a bit pricey, but well worth it in the end! Gone are the day of running out of diapers and having to call out to Grandpa's to see if he's got any there! We just have to make sure mommy has them washed! Check them out at http://www.kellyscloset.com/! And the bonus, is Kaitlynn doesn't mind either way!!!

Kaitlynns New Helmet!

So yesterday, after all the hassle's we've had with Kaitlynn's new helmet, and our last (wasted) trip to Texas. . . Kaitlynn finally has a new hlemet! Mommy even decorated it lastnight! Here's a few pictures of it! Enjoy!

And here are just a few pictures of Kaitlynn jumping in the new Jumperoo, THANKS JOYCE! She loves to jump in the thing, but it's funny to watch! She'll jump with her arms up in the air!

Easter Egg Decoration

So Aunt Bridget came home on Thursday, and helped the kids color eggs, Just thought I'd share the pictures!

Trying to get a good picture of them was almost impossible!!!

At first Aunt Bridget did them, and then we let them go!

Kaitlynn got an egg.

Eventful Day!

So, today started off like any other Sunday, bustle and hustle to get ready to go to church. And well then to Grandpa & Grandma Cast's house for Easter. We had breakfast, no biggie except MacKenzie wouldn't stop talking....oh wait that's nothing new! Joel & I headed down to take a shower, and just before I hopped in I heard MacKenzie cry. I opened the door thinking to find her and Dahrran fighting over something or another...again nothing new...but instead I find her sitting on the guest bed, screaming with her hand on her chin, and blood running from it! HERE WE GO AGAIN! :( She split her chin open again for the second time in 3 months! So instead of heading to Church, we headed to the ER. MacKenzie ended up with 3 more stitches. This time they put individual stitches so hopefully we won't have anything coming out!! But they did tell us that it will probably be 6 months before she'll be in the clear for bumps on the chin.

So Easter! It went well! We had a good time, and it was fun to see everyone. Dahrran had a good time playing with Erika and Taylor. He has decided that he needs to go play at their houses again sometime soon! MacKenzie didn't get to go outside to find Easter Eggs, but she got a new Dora video after her stitches, so she didn't' seem to mind! Let's just hope it stays cool outside so I can keep her sitting! Oh, and I just realized I didn't tell you how she busted it open....but if you figured it out smart you! She was Jumping on the bed. So everyone kept telling her " No more Monkey's Jumping on the bed!".

Inspirational Video

I'm not usually the type to forward on videos and such in my email. But I got this amazing video from our neighbor yesterday, and as I sit here there are tears comming down my face! It's a great lesson in life, and make make you stronger! I know it has me, just mainly made me think!

It does take about 10 minutes of your time, but well worth it!!!!

We're SOLD

Just an update, since well I'm at dad's house for a few minutes! Thunderstruck did great and was sold. Joel was happy with the price, and I have to say I've got no complaints. The kids on the other hand, wern't too happy. Infact MacKenzie had a good little cry when they loaded him onto the trailer. The guy that bought him, asked if he was a pet, but then again when you've only got 8 head...EVERY ONE...is a pet! But Dahrran knows that Thunderstruck isn't comming home with them, and is okay with the fact!

Sale Day

So the day has come when we finally get to see if our Cattle are worth the money, and making us any! Joel has been waiting for this day to come since Randy Schawang told him we could put Thunderstruck on the sale! This week has been hectic with Joel running around to get everything ready. And of course this morning the poor guy couldn't sleep and was up at (i don't even know what time!) Had showered, and was ready to walk out the door at 8:30am. Of course he couldn't sit stillHere's the bull we're putting on the Schawang Cattle sale today. The sale is at 1:00pm, today March 15, 2008, in David City, at the Fair grounds. So if you're looking for a bull, or even replacement heifers, come on over!

Hello All

Okay so I've been wanting to do this for a while now, and thanks to Sky, I finally found a spot that ... hopefully...knock on wood... I'll really like!

Things are great with us, and I can't believe that it's almost Easter! I have NOTHING bought yet for the kid's baskets, but I do have their outfits, and I do have to say I'm so excited to get them in them. Of course I had to buy the girls matching dresses!
