Fun times with Friends

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, that Joel decided to go up to a place we cut grass hay on, friends of ours place, and start a pile of brush on fire. Making the PERFECT bonfire for weenies, and mallows, and of course with mallows comes S'MORES!!!!! So why not get the kids outside, and let them do what kids do.....be kids! They had so much fun, and here are just a few of the many picutres we took. Thanks so much to Dale and Joyce for the place to do it!!!!

First things First.

Kaitlynn wants to know your opinion! We found this shirt today, and she just had to have it! Of course this is every woman's prerogative!


Then as we're sitting her looking through pictures I took tonight, Joel goes, that looks just like Dahrran! Which I was shocked, because well, I think she looks like him, and me, but everyone thinks she looks like MacKenzie! For those who know us, look, and then tell me! I have to admit, I do see the resembelence. Joel said it wasn't just the resemblence, he thought it could've been Dahrran had he not known better!

The reason we took these shots tonight, was to mark a very special day! Kaitlynn was 8 months old today. Eight months, I don't know where the last 4 have went! The first 4 were so slow, but the last 4 seem to have flown by the seat of our pants! She's getting so big, and independant. She's so content sitting on the floor flailing her arms!

Of course I had to get one of all three of them....which I have to say, is harder than it looks! MacKenzie's latest thing is to sit there and stick her tonge out. Drives me crazy, that's why I've got so many good ones of Dahrran and Kaitlynn. Hopefully as the next 8 months go, we'll have an easier time of getting them all to take better pictures!

My sweet Little Angels!

Ever just had one of those days, when it seems like you're talking to no one but yourself. Everything is behind, and the clouds just keep getting gloomier, and gloomier. Well today was one of those days, with a misty rain and all! I just couldn't get my booty in gear to do a dang thing, and no one was listening anyways, so why not go to town. Don't get me wrong, it was good to get out, but at the same time when it's just plain o'le yucky weather outside, what's the point!

We get home from town, and no one was listening, again why would they start now, it's not like they had anything better to do! As Joel and I were getting supper made, they got into some trouble, and so they had to sit on the stairs until supper was ready. 5 minutes tops! They got told they could come and eat. I was working on a sewing project, and we were kind of eatting in shifts any ways. When what do I hear come out of MacKenzie's mouth? "Okay, Dahrran are you ready to pray, Okay", I look over and see them sitting there with their hands folded, and they start to pray.

It's days like this that make the crazyness of being a Stay at Home mom, all worth it. You have days when they don't listen to a word you say, but yet are listening to everything you teach them. I'm so proud of them for listening, and learning the values that we want to teach them. Yes, I want them to listen to their parents, but God works in mysterious ways, and he will teach them in his own time.

Random, but not so Random

Maybe it's just now because of Kaitlynn's Cranio that I notice things more. It's been a rough road, and the first 4 months were the hardest. I've learned to love my kids, and take everything for what it's worth. Drama doesn't consume my life, but I do try to fill it with Laughter. I try not to yell at the kids so much, but then again that one doesn't always happen. Some days you just have "One of those days!" The thing that I notice the most that has changed, is the way I look at EVERY baby that I see. I look, and I wonder. I wonder if their head shape is because of their family's genes, or if there is something their parents have yet to find out. The thing we found out when Katilynn was just a few hours/days old, that other parents have had to hear when their babies are so much older. I guess that it just has to do with the roller coaster ride we've been on the last 7 1/2 months. And I'm sure it's just because. You know I didn't ever think of the shape of a child's head. I don't even remember looking at Dahrran and MacKenzie's head shape, and after we found out about Cranio, I went and looked at their pictures...just to make sure!

On another note in my random post. Kaitlynn has two teeth now. The newest one came in just yesterday. She's now a full blown sitter! She can sit for long periods of time without support. Still not a crawler, but that's okay by me. She's finally learned to roll herself around, and has managed to get herself from one side of the room, to the other with ease. She's growing so much, and I can't believe she'll be 8 months old on Friday!

Enough for today, but maybe tomorrow I'll get our pictures from the Children's Museum put up tomarrow!

All in all MacKenzie had a great birthday! She got the things she wanted, which wasn't much but a robot dog....which by the way is kinda annyoing! She also got a Hannah Montanta shirt, and some other clothes! She was spoiled most of the day which, led to a little girl that had too much on her plate for the day, and a cranky little one!

Happy Birthday To MacKenzie!!!!

Well at 12:31pm, our Baby girl will turn 3. It doesn't seem like that, and I can't believe it's been 3 years already, but it has!!!!! So Happy Birthday to our little Princess!

She is defiant, demanding, sassy, and the typical girl! She loves to play dress up, change her clothes 5 times a day, play dolls, and play doh. She is also a tomboy at heart, and doesn't mind getting dirty, she loves spending the day with daddy on grandpa's farm. She loves her sister, and her brother.

So here's to you our little Princess, enjoy your day, and Happy 3rd Birthday!!!!!

Two Weeks of Toys!

Is it So?

As I was just reading through our blog today, I noticed something, and I know it's probably nothing, but it does make me realize that I should've paid more attention in English Class! And well I know I shouldn't point out my flaws, but I just couldn't help but notice.....I start the majority of our posts with SO. I really need to get another word/wording! That's my goal...to come up with a better way to start post.

And on another note, it musta just been a tooth, because Kaitlynn slept like a doll lastnight! Infact she's just starting to fuss now as I type...so TOODLE-OOOO!

No Wonder!

So lastnight, Kaitlynn didn't sleep worth beans, and pretty much since we got back from Texas the begining of March she's been sleeping all night! Well when she was up every 2 hours or so lastnight I knew something was up...but what was it! Okay so she did have poooyey pants about 2 am, (by the way that stuff's been nasty too!) but other than that I couldn't pin-point it....UNTIL tonight when I was sitting here trying to play patty-cake, and all she wanted to do was eat her hands! So I put my finger in her mouth, and low and behold we have our FIRST tooth!!!! It's about time, is all I have to say. She's been dealing with the pain, and bumps in her mouth since she was about three months old!

I just can't belive how big she is getting! She's about 7 1/2 months old now, and getting bigger everyday. She mastered rolling from her back to her tummy about two weeks ago now, but still hasn't figured out how to get back to her back!! We're getting better at sitting, it's still not there full time, but we'll get there, and that's all that matters!

I chopped it! :)

So I decided I was tired of my hair being so long, and just kinda a pain in the tushy! So here you go Mom, *even thought you don't know I did it*, and well everyone else! It's cute, short, and I like it, hopefully it will be easier to handle with the kids. And MAYBE, just Maybe, it will get done on a regular basis. Since it doesn't go up into a ponytail like it did before, I guess it will have to be done! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!!!!

Mom's new ride! :)

So we wern't planning on getting a new vehicle, but it just kinda came upon us! I'm so glad we finally got rid of the van. It did us good, but this is going to be so much nicer. Granted the gas issue is kinda a pain, but we have more room so I won't complain! We've had her for about a week and a half now, but it takes me time to sit down and type these up! :)
