The busy week, with no end in sight

What a busy week it's been at our house. Places to go, People to see, and Things to do!!!
It started off with Dahrran and MacKenzie going to spend the night with their Aunt Bridget. Off we headed to Lincoln to go see her. After some shopping, and then some playing around with my new camera I got just a couple shots of Kaitlynn with Aunt Bridget. I'm so loving my new camera, and I don't want to go back!!!! It takes nice, clean crisp pictures, and I LOVE IT!

Later that afternoon, I got an awesome picture of Kaitlynn eat ting her bitter biscuits!
Then on Thursday, Kaitlynn and I headed to Joel's parents house to help Aunt Jeanine work on the slide show for their parents. First things first, since it was Kaitlynn's 6 month anniversary, I wanted to get pictures of her head. You can see the difference already!!!!
Then of course I had to get pictures of all the action going on in the living room! See Joel is the youngest of 8, yes I said 8. And so there are 26 grandchildren, all under the age of 13. 7 of which were born in 2007. 6 of which were there on Thursday! So that made 6 babes ages 10 months to 15 months!!!! 3 of which are crawling, and 3 of which are walking! So needless to say it was a crazy house!!! See little Kaitlynn, she is 6 weeks younger than the Quads, Ben, Alex, Olivia, and Grant, seen behind her! Then we've got Erika in the pink, and Lilly in the green.
Then on Sat. we had the Gresham Days Festivities! This year our dear neighbor Amy, asked me to help her chair the local Bike Rally for the kids. In the past they've done a Poker type game, and had the children ride their bikes to different houses, choose a card, and the one with the highest score won. Well we decided to change things up this year. We went for a Treasure Hunt format, and I think it was a hit! We split the kids up into groups, and they had to find clues which lead them back to the beginning. The first team back won first place. Dahrran wasn't going to participate, but then decided he wanted to! I didn't know how well it would go with him trying to keep up with the bigger kids, but he did AWESOME!!!!!! Here's just a few pics from the day!
We ended up with 27 kids participating! It was a great learning experience for me, and I was more than glad to help out!
Dahrran's group came in 2nd place! I was so proud of him!!!

MacKenzie didn't get to ride her bike but did get some bubbles for helping us out!

Our week/weekend was incredibly busy. After our rally on Sat. we headed over to help out Joel's sister Jennifer re-roof their house after the storms that came through last month. When I got a call from Joel that his uncle had passed away early in the morning. So this week will be filled with more busy adventures, and even a short trip. If I'm not up and blogging, that's why! Hope everyone has an awesome week ahead, and we'll catch up later!
